MTB Devon?

I'm heading back to the UK for a few weeks , sept 8th-15th in Kingsbridge, Devon (then somewhere just north of Bristol for a week).


Devon tis hilly , so anywhere close by to rent n ride? unlikly to have much transport.

As you are in Kingsbridge, it's worth dropping Trading Post a call - they are half way up Fore Street, phone number is 01548 852923. I'm not sure if they do bike hire but if they don't they will know who will. They've been the main bike/toy shop in KB for many many years.

There's also this place in Churchstow which is a couple of miles out of KB - http://www.freedomhiredevon.co.uk/
I've not used them though so don't know if they are any good. It'll be a 5/10 min taxi from KB or alternatively you could brave the 93 bus (towards Plymouth) which will take 10-15 mins. The cycle back to town will be mainly downhill too
