What colour cam cover...?

Im going to be sorting out the bay on my T350. Will be getting a set of silicone hoses (probably blue) and im going to change the colour of the cam cover. But havent got a clue what colour to go for. Do i go for blue, stock silver, or something completely different? Aslo what to do with the plug cover.
Opinions please?

I'm debating powder coating the cam cover on my Tam, not seen another (possibly for good reason) in HRF Gold. I've cleaned up the cam inlay and will spray that wrinkle matt black with gold 'speed six'. The reason for gold (on a black car) is all my cars have been black and my last track car had an engine built by famous (in the right circles) tuning shop HRF. They had a full gold car and gold cam cover, so it's a tribute to my old car that's now a cube at the scrappers.

2 weeks ago friday i was picking it up. Didnt even get it away from there before it was in the workshop. Dodgy fuel sendor, all sorted now. Although ive been back 4 times since with various problems.Im guessing your local?

i opted to get my cam cover powder coated up at track v road done a dam good job to,whilst that was being done also had the fuel rail done also.
then fitted a carbon plug cover..

wasnt to bad a price if i remember right,
powder coat rocker cover 115.00 inc labour
powder coat fuel rail 135.00 inc labour
powder coat water pipe various brackets 20.00 inc labour
braid oil return pipe and top coolant hose 15.00 inc labour
... plus vat...............

Well I painted the cam inlay in wrinkle black today, looked fantastic imo when the wrinkle effect occurred before my eyes. Got the finish it off but will post pics when done. I now need to cam cover powder coating, anyone know a good place in Surrey? Hoping to get it done while 'the Garage' have the car at the end of the month.
Got some shots of the process I went through to tidy my cam inlay..
Remove cam inlay and sand down to remove sealant and knackered paint (hand sander).
Take one can on Wrinkle Black high temp paint and apply thick base coat.
Heat the bloody thing with a heat gun to speed up wrinkle process and apply 3-4 thin top coats.
Up close shot of the wrinkles, hides a multitude of sins so the sanding doesn't have to be perfect.
Sand down the embossed lettering (if you want to paint it as I did). Just enough to rough up the surface.
Take one can of VHT Gold paint and apply liberally to a gloss roller on a binbag.
The finished article, nice and different. Should go well with the gold cam cover!
