I need a small piece of phone-related work doing, and was wondering if we had any BT or phone engineers on the SAS patch.

Well, in a nutshell, I'd like to have an extention moved (if that's possible) - but also have it tested to make sure it's working/wired ok. If it's not - then I guess a simple case of re-wiring it.
