Anyone going?

For the last two years I've gone on the Saturday, but I'm thinking of avoiding the crowds and going on the Friday this year. Has anyone been on the first day before? I don't want to miss anything, but as far as I can tell both Friday and Saturday are for testing and Sunday is for the timed runs.

Could be an opportunity for a PH meet?

I would go on friday to miss the crouds as will have my miss's and a little one with me so it would be worth missing the busy days

It's on 12th, 13th and 14th of July.

It's my favorite motoring event of the year :-)

I haven't bee n before and intend to go on either Friday or Saturday this year, Sunday I'll be at the GP at Donington.

I've always been on a Friday before. From listening to colleagues who have been on the weekend days, the Friday is very good for getting closer to the cars and there's almost as much going on as the other days. You might need to leave earlier to get there as you tend to get caught up in commuter traffic on the Friday.

Having said that, I'm going on the Saturday this time for the first time! Can't make it on Friday this year.
