Anyone had any experience with this lens for Leica M or perhaps converted to work with micro four thirds? Kind of tempted but trying to justify in my head an expensive lens that I can only use with my 50 year old Leica M3 currently.

They are available on ebay for around £600ish

I have a Zeiss Planar T f/1.4 50mm (which is also made by Cosina) on my D300, and it produces stunning results. I am sure that Voigtlander will be just as awesome. Build quality is just superb. I love it.

Looking at getting the 25mm Distagon next smile

Have you come across www.Mu-43.com ?

There are quite a few people there who enjoy working with old lenses so might be something useful in the forum archives (for example.)

Excellent. Wasn't aware of that forum, also wasn't aware that Cosina made Zeiss lenses either!
