Hello

I want to have an experiment with fisheye lenses and mountain bike photography, but being a student I don't have the huge money to spend on proper Canon or big name brand lenses etc.

Can anybody please suggest any cheap (upto £70 for example) adapter or cheap lens that can be used for the same effect? If possible at all for that money? If anyone could link me a decent one on Ebay or something, that would be fantastic.

My camera is a 300D, not majorly knowledgeable when it comes to wether or not a lens would fit etc. so that doesn't help my situation smile

Cheers
Louisa

Hire one first to see if you get on with it. They are specialist lenses and you might find you only use it the once.

Cheapest way is to bodge something with a door peephole lens plenty of how to's on the internets.

For a 'proper' lens theres the samyang 8mm fisheye , sold under a number of names, pretty decent

Have a look for 'Raynox fisheye'. Affordable convertors that screw on to the front of your lens. Not as good quality as a dedicated fisheye of course, but far cheaper.
