Forza 3 - Create Carbon Fibre Designs ...

Help! I've scoured the Internet in search of a guide on how to create realistic carbon fibre vinyls in order for me to complete my Pagani Zonda Cinque replica

So far most of the guides I have found have fairly similar instructions, in that you need to use the 'stripe 17' vinyl, stretch it and spin it, whilst creating the same shape again and rotating the vinyl in a different direction to overlap - Full details here: http://www.exodusracing.net/index.php?topic=1205.0

However to me it seems quite flat in texture and almost latice-like in appearance, as if the weave is too large. I've tried creating a small weave, as well as placing a black rectangle over the area and changing the transparency, but I can't seem to create the look I'm after ...

I downloaded a carbon fibre design from the store front, which when applied, looks epic when the Forza camera pans around the car ... Really vibrant and reflective! Here is a quick pic of the CF, although it does look a lot more vibrant and reflective on a television:





Does anyone have any tips to help replicate the above? If you'd be willing to share, it would be much appreciated! Then I can set about finishing my Zonda Cinque!

I have a carbom fibre that your welcome to try and it doesn't use up loads of layers like some do. (not a criticism of those as they are superb)
