I,m on Portsmouth/Caen 06:45 Thurs

Is anyone else on this sailing. Ive never taken my TVR on a ferry before, do they tend to ground themselves when embarking? any hints to avoid this? Hope to meet some of you down there

We are on the P&O 6.45 crossing along with 17 tvrs from the Berks region and 1 mx 5! who will have fun keeping up. You should have no trouble boarding as my Griff was OK on this sort of fast cat ferry last year,you should hear us coming ,see you there regards James

Not sure yet A3 is better for me as iam near Slough but quite a few people are from the Reading area, will sort out the route nearer the time.

My S3 was ok last year to le mans and I reckon the S is the lowest car TVR ever produced with the exhaust hanging below the chassis. Scraped a bit on the return leg largely due to 2 cases of lager.

I am taking the Chimaera this year and wont be fretting at all. will be fine.

An F40 in front of us was struggling on the fast cat last year. They had to get some planks out for him and it still caught.
The ramp gradient may depend on the tide as well as Im sure they werent as steep as that on the way back in.

Ok now i cant wait... is it best to put your roof on for the ferry or is it ok without? Emptying the boot to put your roof in/out seems tiresome
