Any one know where the front wiring harness picks up the earth for the lights, indicators etc? I can see there are two earth points on the chassis tubes, one N/S just below the battery and one opposite on the O/S. is it one of these or is there another?
There are probably some others, but varies from chassis to chassis. My Taimar had an earth point just ahead of the radiator for the front lights.

On mine there was one on either side just in front of the top wishbone mounting 6mm I think.
