Air Meter Tool for Balancing Throttle Bodies
Discussion
Does anyone know the correct name for the little meter that is used to measure the airflow at idle on each throttle body when servicing?
I am sure Demon Tweeks or Machine Mart supply them but I can't recall the correct name so can't find te meter.
I thought it was an air mass meter or air flow meter.
Any advice appreciated.

Only if you have a vacuum take off on each TB(bikes do inc FI one's)a syncrometer is a little more flexible(fits on the intakes/trumpets)that vacuum gauge set is blinding by the way i still have mine left over from when i did motorcycles
much better than more expensive kit as i remember
Holden's do a cheaper and simpler tool

Easy to use and seems pretty accurate. Depends how much you want to spend and how exactging you think you need to be. Works fine on my cars.

I gave up superbikes for obvious reasons
so no longer work on them either i find the lure easier to control this way
in fact lately i was thinking of putting all my bike tools on Ebay
Feel for you Simon, i have recently done the same. An accident coincided with my wife falling pregnant = bye bye bike

I use the dellorto on my 4.5 AJP, very easy to use with a nice stable reading http://www.dellorto.co.uk/merchandise/products.asp...
I trimmed 5mm off the bottom of the rubber cone as it seemed rather close to the Butterfly, however this mod may not be necessary.

Been thinking about one of these off eBay for doing my twin SU's, but I think I've got the knack of them now, but its a pain having to take off the air box every time then compensating once it's back on.

It's just a bit of a pose to have guages, I should actually use the colourtune I nicked off me old man too.

Have you gone to Webbers with the Spitfire?
