SO many good games coming out...

There are so many good games coming out in the next 6 or so months,

Got a bit carried away with pre orders with Amazon/Game, got the following -

GT5
Need for Speed: Hot Persuit
Twisted Metal (cannot wait!)
Medal of Honor
COD: Black Ops
New Assassins Creed
Test Drive Unlimited 2
F1 2010
Fifa 2010

Very exciting

I've found most NFS games to be very samey. They are nowhere near the likes of Forza or GT, and more often than not are half price within a month or so. Otherwise your list looks decent...

They are very different, but I think thats what makes me like them....some of them anyway. Most of the recent ones have been appalling, Undercover for one, wasted my money on that, you get to a certain mission and the game crashes every time, the controls are terrible.
Pro Street was quite good, as was Shift.

World is a bit iffy, I like the fact that its online and MMO'd, but they've ruined the whole point of NFS, which was modifying cars with lots of bits. Now, for modifying, all you get to choose is 3 packages which gives you the performance boosts and a body kit, you can't customise it at all. The vinyl editor isn't really that good either, they don't have any aftermarket manufacturer vinyls, and to unlock them you have to be certain levels.
Also, there are only Circuit races and Sprints at the moment, and then the pursuits.

Hot Pursuit does looks good though. As does TDU 2, and GT5 (although I'm now bored of waiting and the hype has now worn off).

i have the beta and it plays rubbish, when shooting people it doesn't feel like you are hitting them. looks like a small map Bad Company

For me at the moment I have bought recently and am just about to start : Mass Effect 2, Metro 2033 and ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead.

Also going to pre order Mafia 2 and eventually get round to playing the Assassin's Creed sequels.

Deus Ex is still my favourite game of all-time! I was absolutely hooked on the story!

Let's hope HR is more in-line with the original.......and as far removed as possible from IW!
