On a recent European Drive, I visited the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. I took the following photo and want to get it put onto Canvas - but wondered whether it looks decent straight off the camera (350d) or if some processing would make it a better shot. Your thoughts please....

Looks ok on my incalibrated monitor.

Speak to Tim @ Fluid images, Roadrunner3 on here for printing and assistance.

Not exactly helpful after the event but I would have moved the camera a couple of inches to the left to include the whole of the other tail light and chop off the bright patch at the right... I have taken pictures at the Maranello Galleria of an F50 and had a very contrasty result with an F50 next to the window.

Whilst I'm no expert just a casual observer; if I was having that as a picture I'd want to get rid of the car in the background and the 2 red splodges above as it's distracting and draws your eye away from the Ferrari. I'd also want to remove the reflection of you taking the shot in the OSR quarter.

Both are relatively easy to do in post-processing - although my CS skills wouldn't stand up to close scrutiny - so I'm not volunteering to do it smile

How could that be him? That's someone else walking past.

Or this type of effect, but with more care taken at the saturation boundary.

It was better with the other car in... Just get rid of those red things and it will be very good.
