Ultima Factory Open Day

Ultima are holding an open day at their factory in Hinckley, Leicestershire on Sunday 21st April. A (small) convoy will be traveling up from the south meeting at Sutton Scotney Services on the A34 at 07.30 to 07.45 and at the services on the Peartree Roudabout A34 at 08.30 to 08.45.

Anyone planing on making the trip want to join up your most welcome. (I'll be in a red GTR Reg FL02 ZVR)

Hi, I'd be really interested to visit the factory, especially as it may help in my university project. Is it literally turn up on the day or do I have to contact anyone first. Meeting up sounds like a good plan not sure my car would keep up though....

It's an open day, so just turn up. If you want to discuss anything in particular you could give Ted or Richard a ring (01455 631366) and ask if they could spare you 5-mins on Sunday. Their very friendly, honest!

As for traveling up, come along, we will be traveling up on public roads! If you remember, I can give you instructions on how to get there before we set off, then if we do get slit up you wont be left stranded.

Let me know where you will be meeting us so I know to expect you. And what car you'll be driving.

Looks like meeting up may be a problem, I'm travelling from Swansea. I've got out the map and had a look, got some decent directions but looks like an early start! What time are you hoping to get to the factory, i'll probably have to meet you there. I'll be in a Punto Sporting (p570 acu)

Traveling from S.Wales via the A34 would be the long way round ... Nevermind, most of us were planing to get there between 10.15 & 10.45.

Marshy - I'm going up but as I agreed the sale of my TVR this morning I'll be in my Jeep. I'll be a bit sad when it eventually goes next week but it needs to make way for the start of the Ultima build and money to fund it!
