Saw an article in Road and Track that a lot of American cities are trying to ban Cruising.

It's a similar story here. The government is digging its heels to get cruising banned here - there's a petition somewhere to keep cruises alive (the Max Power ones I don't usually condone). Both here and in the USA, it's the immature and inconsiderate kids who put their own lives and the lives of bystanders, as well as their own cars (not that cars are living objects), at risk.

There's nothing wrong with cruises when you've got mature adults driving nice cars, that USUALLY (but not always) shows their responsible and aware of their limits. There's just too many accidents in USA during cruises, some of which are fatal, which is why the government wants to ban it.

If you're going to race at excessive speeds on public roads, keep it to the track, if you're going to meet and talk, than that's fine in public.
