stolen cameras

went to le mans for the classic last week and had my nikon d100 and d-70 stolen.
Am now waiting for insurance people to ring me and i have a new for old policy.
what would you suggest are the current models either nikon or canon, as my lenses were stolen too, which are closest to these, thanks

gutted for you mate... I am guessing you lost all your pics too... the kit is replacable, the pics are not.. no idea on kit... I am sure someone will be along in a bit...

The D100's current equivalent would be the D300, and for the D70, the D90.

You may have lost the photos but you will end up two generation ahead in kit!

yeah, worst bit was losing the pics, had some excellent shots looking down into pit lane from the aco club, as well as around the pits etc
