Excellent vid. I don't think it was a case of being chased though it was possibly just a case of the Blue car being totally outdriven by the Porsche - excellent and very smooth drive.

Doesn't look like the M3 was really trying tbh.

Question is: what is a M3 'Cup Car'? A genuine M3 G4/2 or even GTR would crush a (stock) GT3 - in fact stock almost anything would be left for dust. If it was a CSL or some other overpriced marketing turd then the Porsche has a clear advantage, it's a different class of car.

Nothwithstanding above, great drive from the GT3.

well driven Sundeep, you left the CSL for dead at 3m 40 as well (think it was CSL)

as for Magic Marker, your right in that any M3 race car would tear into a stock road GT3 pretty easily, its what race cars do, i guess around Silverstone it would put around 10 seconds over a GT3

Good driving????!!!! Porsche driver repeatedly fails to match his revs when down shifting, cruises up to corners off power and is then late on the power again. Very noticable too that when he overtakes 'slower' drivers before a corner they actually hold him or even gain through the next few corners before he uses power to pull away. Looks like a very averagely driven powerful car out amongst first timers in less powerful cars to me. Nothing wrong with any off that at all if he's having fun BUT for people on here to congratulate him on his driving.......................?

Lol, a GT3 beating a BritCar E46 M3...

Let's be realistic here. If the E46 M3 is a proper BritCar on slicks, driven well it would easily do 5-10sec a lap over the GT3.

Reminds me of the fun we had with a CSCC 944 Turbo S, Ben Demetriou's 968 Porsche Open Car and my racer at Brands vs. the GT3 boys during an evening track day. Most of the 996/997s were on average 3 to 5 secs a lap slower than us on the Indy Circuit...

Car is flattering the driver immensely.

Were it not so capable, he'd have been swallowed up by the beemer or the lost the back end as he coasted through the corners.

Beautiful sound on the GT3, but didn't half hold up the Radicals. For the cost of a GT3, I'd probably rather have a Radical and a pre 89 911 Turbo or 928 GT and have some money left over:-)
