Insurance...(again!)

Sorry to bring this up again, but since Hagerty won't insure these beasts anymore, what sort of quotes are people getting?

With Hagerty I was paying around 180(my pound button has broken!) But all the quotes I'm getting are closer to 300!

I'm 30yrs old, and nothing else has changed.

Adrian Flux were a good bit cheaper than all the others I tried.

Thnaks for the help chaps, I have just had my best quote with Mannings. They seem very good, tray day use, european cover, not sure if breakdown included? Only 100pnd excess for 210pnd, thats with the wife on, who is 28yrs of age, and most insurance companies needed her to over 30.

So pleased as punch, now just need the rain to stop!!

If it's any help I went with Lancaster which oddly came via one of the comparision sites as the "specialists" weren't interested.

Lancaster limited miles (3,000) and agreed value was £230 for the year, renewed with them towards the end of June.

Mine is up for renewal in soon, £600 better than the £4000+ I get offered elsewhere! Oh the joys of being 24.

Just had a pleasant surprise with my renewal from Lancaster, £177 which is about £60 cheaper than last year. Policy is with KGM and covers 5000 miles social, domestic and pleasure including commuting for myself and missus. Only limitation is the mileage and must not be any drivers every day vehicle. Agreed value of £5000 and kept on drive.
Not bad me thinks.

I will also be getting insurance from Lancaster. Their cover for me was good about the same as last year with Hagerty £155 for three drivers, 3000 miles a year and agreed value. Looks as though their policy with regard to the agreed value is just sending photos too rather than requiring a 'valuation certificate' as Mannings wanted.

RH Specialist cars for me. Not the cheapest for just the insurance but they were when including the breakdown cover.

Will never understand insurance, I'm old and sensible live in a reasonable area but they've just quoted me over £400 (5000 miles £4500 value) parked on drive, is yours garaged ?

insured my S3 this morning with heritage <norton> 3K MILES pa ,agreed value, £100 excess ,£60 windscreen excess,and breakdown cover uk only.£167.00 but garaged overnight!shopping around pays off had one quote for £240.00 kev
