Hello Everyone,

Had my 360 RROD about 2 weeks ago, sent away for repairs and recieved a replacement console back today. All good and timely turnaround and all that but the replacement console that they have provided me in is an absolute state, the USB cover thing hanging off, their is a deep 6" scratch on top of the console, memory card plastic thing hanging off and also it stinks of cigerettes. I'm a bit peeved as my 360 was in good condition (near immaculate) and im left with this rejected POS. Does anyone know if it is worth chasing MS for a replacement console and are they gonna tell me to foxtrot oscar?

God yes, tell them it stinks of fags and you want a new one.

Mine died about 18 months ago and they sent me back a shocker. It was dirty, scratched and broke down again almost instantly. I rang them back up and kept insisting on being passed up the food chain, without ever shouting at anyone, until I got a call from a guy in the US introduced only as Ken.

Ken sorted the problem out very quickly and bent over backwards to meet all my demands for free stuff, so it was well worth it!
