I have just realised a potential issue for those who buy their dream car.
I have owned my Chimaera (99 plate with 30k miles) for one month now and have covered 2,600 miles already!
One of my reasons for getting the Chimaera as my daily drive was due to the fact that I work from home and therefore have no commute. I clearly didn't think about the fact that the car would be sitting under me (my office is above the garage) and the sun would be beaming outside... I have become quite good at finding excuses to pop out during the day.
At this rate I'll be in for a 6k service during August!
God I love my car. May pop out for a drive...
p.s. I'm saving up for a second TVR so I can share miles between them.

I am in exactly the same position and am almost one month in to owning my Chimaera 500. I have just been out for a run today and every journey is a pleasure!!
I'm getting loads of positive reactions and cheery waves from other petrol heads too - I wasn't really expecting that!

I've had a few people ask about my car, but I notice that almost every biker that passes me has a good look. Bikers and the usual saxo/nova boys who race up to within a meter of the bumper whilst I'm in traffic only to dissapear in the rear view mirror on the open road!
But then I suppose a sports bike must be the ultimate petrolheads toy.
