BMW Specialist, Richfield Avenue, Reading - Who is it
Discussion
The company in question is us, Grosvenor.
We've been around for years based in Kidmore Road but have just opened our new site on Richfield Avenue.
I don't want to break any site rules by advertising etc, so when you next pass pop in and we will be happy to show you around and offer you any advice that you may need.

Has anyone actually used these guys yet ? I've got some suspension work that needs doing that I'm unwilling to shell out Cooper-style labour rates on (especially as Cooper's have already misdiagnosed the problem twice...)

If Munich Motors wasn't 2 minutes from my house I would definitely go to them.
Anywhere that has an E31 in the lobby *has* to be a good place right?
Have now used them and I am very impressed. They seem to know BMWs well, and they have an incredibly helpful attitude. It's a nice setup, with a large well equipped workshop, lots of glass for viewing, and they'll happily show you what they're doing to your car. Free courtesy cars too.
The definitely have the right attitude to succeed - so get the word out as the only worry I had is they don't seem exactly rushed off their feet with work at the moment, and I hope they're still there for the forseeable.
The guy who owns the business is in the process of building himself a little hot-rod based on some vintage american pickup chassis with an E36 Evo engine. Should be mental when completed.
I decided to give Grosvenor a try to get to the bottom of the brake shudder on my M5. They are very professional but give no nonsense answers with no bulls
t. pete the owner is passionate about BMW and reckons he has owned most models so he can experiment on them. So far they have replaced the brake reaction bushes and on Friday they fitted 3 different pairs of front wheels to try and eliminate my buckled wheels. None of them fitted but they won't admit defeat yet. Well worth a try, I won't be taking my car back to Munich motors again.
