Getting rid of a sofa
Discussion
Anyone know the best way to get rid of a sofa, chair and footstool in Reading or does anyone want them free? I'm getting a new corner unit Friday and need them gone. I tried british heart foundation but now answer and they're damaged so I'm not sure they'd have them. They're only a year old from SCS and wernt cheap at all, however I took the covers off to wash them and the seams on the covers all tore and they shrunk a bit. you can't see the tears really badly when they are on the sofa so they're not that bad and could easily be sewn up so if anyone wants some for a garage or something you're welcome to them if you can take them away tomorrow.
Otherwise as above, what other methods of furniture removal (cheap) are availiable?
All a bit late notice but I wasn't expecting the new one untill end of August and they called today to say it was in early!
Cheers in anticipation

king pain in the arse as I need to be in Basingstoke for work at 9 (did not think they would deliver so early!) my own fault as I double booked. Typical being the first day in a long long time that I've had to be out so early!
Apparently they will put them outside for me, then *touchwood* Shimmey is going to help me take them to the skip at some point
