PS3 Console Repair in this area

Morning peoples does any one know of a computer games console repair center/shop in the thames valley and surrey or hampshire area.
my ps3 has just developed the red flashing light of doom . and im not going to pay sony £145 for a recon

If you can find the repair, I may be able to help as I'm quite handy with a soldering iron. Otherwise you could try Ross Records or somewhere like that.

Do the Sony recon'd units come with any sort of warranty?

yes but they are not reat and fail regulerly i would rather see if i could get mine fixed and if that fails then will go get one of the slim new uns

A friend of friend has used Hayling Computers before to repair their Xbox. Think it was about £40, so might be worth a call.
