Am I the only one to wash my teabags?
Discussion
Following on from "burnt coffee" I pose the questions. Does anyone else rinse or wash their teabags before making a mug or pot of tea? I normally rinse under the tap for a few seconds before using.
I did a taste test and compared "sediment" and the washed tea bag gave a sweeter flavour and un suprisingly less residue in the bottom of the cup.
This was just with normal PG tips or whatever I was using at the time.
