Daves Insanity Sauce - Private Reserve

So... interesting night.
I took a bottle of this round to the parents this evening, as they were doing a BBQ. I normally make them try a drop on their finger. Last time my brothers lips blistered. This time eclipsed everything that has ever happened.
Mum takes it in saying she will never try it and that she will leave it in the kitchen until I leave, then I can take it with me.
However, she drops it on the floor. Bottle smashes.
I walk in to my Mum trying to clean up the mess whilst being sick in the sink with her eyes watering and shes pretty much unable to breath. I helped clean it up, I didnt even touch the stuff yet my eyes are streaming, lips REALLY sore as I must have touched them after cleaning it up.
This stuff is deadly.
I'm staying here tonight and both Mum and Dad has quietly slipped off to bed, I can hear the taps being run and a lot of swearing. I'm not being invited round again in a hurry.

That stuff is deadly. We've had a bottle for years and quite why it's never managed to eat through the glass is beyond me. Mr Pinwheel likes to bet his friends that they can't take a drop without it "tingling" - never fails to invoke a somewhat hoarse, sweary reaction. 
I made a friend to a teaspoon of it as allegedly he likes his hot food. Idiot.Not on topic but while back in OZ recently I tried a meat pie called "The Flaming Ron". It was filled with Naga Jolokia which runs at 1,341,427 scoville heat units. Before they sell you a pie you have to sign a waiver of liability. I managed 1/4 of it but was on fire. Made by Bremen's Pies, Umina NSW.
I've passed it around on many a boozy occasion. The thing is, people soon tire of it but I would happily take it to every party I go to.
In my group or friends there are two guys who think they can take hotter food than anyone else. They soon regretted their cockyness after trying Dragon's Blood for the first time.

My girlfriend brought home a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce last week from Tescos. Ace, say I. We like hott(ish) food, not silly, but do enjoy a bit of spice.
I said to her "watch out - one drop and your lips will burn like crazy and tears will be streaming". More to get my point across that you don't put a shed load in the chilli!
Anyhow, my question - was I right? Is the regular stuff the one that makes your nuts blow up? Or is that a different type? Seriously, how much should we add to 1kg of chilli?

The standard Tesco stuff is mean too so be careful. Private reserve is just a bit hotter.
I would be experimenting with it, start with literally a couple of drops and next time you make chili maybe add a bit more. I can't emphasise enough just how hot this stuff is.

Last night I got home from work and a home made korma curry was being dished up for the family (small kids too). My wife was just about to put a whole tablespoon of Dragon's blood in my portion at the end after everyone elses was dished up. Luckily I stopped her at the last minute or else I may have died!

not sure but apparently mad dog sauce is 980,000 scovile and any stronger has to be classed as a food addative and not a sauce.100 pure capsacum is a salt like crystal and is 12,000,000 scovile.

It is an additive but I have used it as a sauce also. It makes a nice salsa mixed with tomato for fajitas. Fiery!

{not trying to be a hero, but genuinely didn't find it very hot)
