My son has somehow bust the garage door.

Its one where the runners are top to bottom at the side of the door with wires attached to some kind of spring at the top.

One of the wires has come off and now its very awkard to open/close without it wanting come out of its runners. Since I managed to close it I have not attempted to open it fully.

I've looked at it and scratched my head, but lost how to fix it by DIY.

Easy job if I put some time into it, or do I need a door man?

Any assistance gratefully received.

Go to Hombebase/B&Q and ask for a cone kit for a garage door.

Thanks Nemesis, this is what I wanted and I found instructions on how to do it on the internet.

Cheers
