I am still having problems. Often I will click something (can be anything, my stuff, bookmarks, a forum, topic, or reply button, and it starts loading but just sits on a blank screen. Refreshing just starts it over again, but doesn't help.

I also keep getting that irritating, "somethings not quite right............blah blah" too.

We are working hard at fixing what is causing the problems at the moment and will be tweaking the new setup over the next week to improve the problems we are seeing in the evenings.

Sorry it is being a bit rubbish at times, but we have seen overall improvement in the performance with the new servers. Just need to iron out what is causing the bottle necks in the evening and it will be smooth and lovely again.

I live on the other side of the world, so this is not just a problem in the evenings. Ironically, I went to quote your post and the problem happened again... Good luck with a hopefully quick and effective fix.

The evenings comment was just an example based on last night, we are aware that it is happening at other times too.

FYI The performance is dropping off very badly in the evening; 10 second + waits for pages and then 5 second + load times. Do the server hamsters need an extra night feed?

+1, Sometimes taking 30 plus secs to load a thread up, terrible.

We are working on this and have monitoring in place to tune the database further on this new platform. Initial tests looked good, but there are some queries that are causing the slowdown which we need to find, analyse and smooth out to get it back up and running like we want.
