Cheap visors (iridium / black / coloured)
Discussion

They seem to be a lot cheaper than all the other 'offshore' outlets (thevisorshop, crossan m/c, etc) - worth a look. Silver iridium for an Corsair - £42 (instead of £65)
The irony is that the SNELL or ANSI test applied to most OE tinted and coloured visors is actually more stringent than our own british standard test (which then gives you the kite (sh1te) mark on the visor). As long as it's shaterproof, I wouldn't worry too much.
If this sort of 'illegality' worries you then don't look at my suggestion for 'small' plates under the 'black screens' post!

Doesn't worry me , I still have my sheene replica lid with the full black visor.

I've been past many BiB wearing it, and IME as long as you're not riding like knob they will turn a blind eye....
I really want one of these :

I thought this was funning, although nothing to do with protective eyewear of any description!

Tony,
you're absolutely right I'm afraid. Unfortunately, the behaviour of the few bad coppers out there often undermines the publics (and my) perception of the hoards of good cops. I will behave sensibly and courteously to any police I encounter until they decide to try and swing the balance with thier attitude. They will then get the full effect of my non-cooperation (up to the contraints of PACE protection, etc). I do appreciate that often these people are only doing their job, but attitude, as in any role, is crucial.
Having filled 2 PCA complaints about officer behaviour in the met recently, cos I was so outraged at their behaviour, they have further tarred their own reputation in my eyes.
I am not having a go at any one individual (such as yourself) as you can probably appreciate. I have never met you, so can't form an opinion.
