In a certain supermarket currently
Special offer
2 packs of sliced meat each with 4 slices in each - £3
1 pack of sliced ham with 10 slices in - £3
Not on special offer
Elseware in the shop 20 slices of better quality sliced ham - £4
I see stuff like this all the time.

Not on a daily basis, but last month I want for a pub lunch with some friends and was charged £9 for 10 pieces of spinach and ricotta ravioli. Upon questioning whether I had a starter they confirmed that no, the tipn pieces in the middle of my huge plate were indeed my main course.
This wasn't some restaurant in town but a pub in Colnbrook (Nr Slough)

you must have pissed them off, always used to get a big old bag myself! You want to go down the chippy in Portswood (name has escaped me, big als or something) where we only ever buy a small fish and chips to feed myself, the wife and the bin with a heavy lot of remains. No idea how anyone could eat a whole portion from there
