Xbox Headphones

Just bought some Turtle Beach XLC's to replace my knackered Xbox Official Headset.

Sound quality: Great
Changing Games Settings to enable Chat Sounds as Audible: Bit Disapointing
Developing an electronic Buzz/Rattle 30mins into a 2 hour race: WHAT?!?!

Really disapointed with these and will be taking them back, any recommendations <£50?

a friend of mine owns a compnay that makes ace industrial headphones, im trying to get a set out of him to try. I'll let you know what its like and report back!

I'm still on my 1st set of official ones, going strong after 3 years, for the price they are on fleabay stick to genuines

Problem is it's not just for the voice chat part.

I need proper headphones to keep the noise down now, so that I don't disturb the O/H after she goes to bed, and later on when the baby is sleeping...

The Genuine ones don't provide this function.

I've given up with headphones we got a staffi pup just recently and for some reason he's taken a fancy to eating em the second lot went by the wayside the other day and i hid them too little ferker!!

Ive used Turtle Beach X4's for a couple of years now. Plugged into back of TV, so all none appreciated programs can be watched in peace. Nice set of headphones, no problems with them either.

My mothers dog ate my brothers set of headphones too, two pairs now!

I've got some turtle beach x1's. I can't really fault them to be honest.
