Where to find good garden designs/ideas/templates?

In about 6 months we will have to start making a garden from nothing. The main garden area is 17m x 20 m with the house centred in the middle of the bigger dimension. Would appreciate recommendations of web links which have templates you can copy/change their designs as I have no idea what I want apart from it not looking sterile, should have a tree or two, some shady bits, shed, compost and herb areas and some different ground/path textures/levels. Apart from that my mind is blank so help/hints will be appreciated. What I don't need/want is software, only ideas!
