I recorded some musicians last year, and while the footage on the 7D was fine when viewed on that, when I'd downloaded it and ran it on the PC I found it jittery and juddering along. The PC's not particuarly base spec either, it runs video fine.

Any pointers? I've got a another meet up this year and would like another shot at it.

I pulled the file straight from the card and played that, I was wondering whether it required coverting into another format. It comes out as a .mov file. But it juddered like nothing on quicktime.

Strange. All of my movies out of the 7D play fine straight away on quicktime.

Are you playing from the card or copying it to the computer first?

What resolution are you shooting at?

Copied the file onto the H/D.

I'll have to check the resolution, never used it before! That's why I thought I'd look into it before the next time.

Might try the file on another PC. Never know, could be an issue I suppose.
