.....to get home to Devon.

What happens next?

Inspire me.

I need to make sure wifey gets a bit of retail therapy - nothing too extravagent though. And my six year old son gets some amusement park/beach therapy.

Locally you could do worse than to pop to Portpatrick for lunch, also if you like Michelin star dining this place is supposed to be awesome: http://www.knockinaamlodge.com/

Watch the A75 on the way South, camera vans are prolific and if you do drive straight from the ferry its not uncommon for mile long tailbacks to develop behind trucks as the cars directly behind can't/won't overtake on the long straights, so you get tempted to blast past the lot and get pinged.

I never thought I'd see Cribbs mentioned in this forumhehe

Anyway the city centre shops are better, if you like that sort of thing, and the multistorey will be cracking in a Cerbbiggrin

Too true.

If the OP isn't too keen on retail therapy himself, it would be a good way to get it over and done with on his way home on the M5...

I love this idea, but she'd never wear it.

hehe

I was thinking, Cumbria - Lakes or Yorkshire Dales then perhaps chav it up in Skeggy or Blackpool and then......I'm a bit lost.

Cribbs on the way home is an inspired suggestion. smile

Love it!

That's nearly as far as home in Devon!
