Hello,

I`m a stranger to this part of the forum and I`m after a bit of advice.

Our family point and press Sony has finally bitten the dust (bought in 1999 so I`ve had my money from it!) and I`ve decided on a Panasonic Lumix FS-15 to replace it.

Now, Amazon have it at £179 but I`ve found it on a site, buyacamera.co.uk for £99, which, to my suspicion, appears too good to be true!

Do any of you guys have any experience of them? The site looks good but a saving of £80 over Amazon and £50 over Marks & Spencer (of all places!) has got my attention, I just don`t want to get caught out.

Many thanks for your input!

If in doubt by from Argos (assuming this is the same camera), only £15 difference.

It is indeed the same one!

Unfortunately it`s out of stock though.

Many thanks though.

its probably US or Japanese stock which may not have UK warranty, warranty may be provided by the seller which means you have to be confident the seller a. won't go out of business and b. will honour any warranty claim quickly & efficiently
I had a similar dilemna recently when purchasing a Canon G10, ended up buying a Canon refurb one on eBay with 12mth warranty from Canon rather than risking unknown sellers.

Bought canon refurb from ebay too. No problems, and I had to make a warranty claim on the lens too.
