Can anyone tell me if I can buy new wiperblades for a 2001 tuscan 'off the shelf' anywhere apart from a main dealer? They are not listed in Halfords etc, but I am wondering if they are a standard wiper blade that is fitted to other cars?????

Try Bosch 21/21S wiper blades sold at Halfords. These have a spoiler on the drivers side that stops it flapping around at speed! This was a recommendation on a recent thread (type in wiper blades on the search facility) and they fit great. I did have to remove one of the plastic clips (the one under the actual arm - you need to actually break it off) as this caused the wiper blade to riase slightly and leave an area that the blade did not clear the rain from the window. It holds fine with just the one clip. If you buy these and have the same problem, you will know what I mean!

Hi peteh,
I have a 2000 tuscan and the blades i use on mine are bosch 21.Also use the spoiler ones, as it stops the blade on the driver side jumping round at speeds you shouldn't be doing.
The only problem i had was the getting the one with the right connector. There's two differant types i think.
They do them in Halfords, take one of your old ones in with you to match up.
Also do you use rainex?i would recomend it.Stops the need for wipers a lot of the time.
hope that was of some help

I bought the Bosch 21/21S set and had no problems fitting them - no need to snap anything off or make sure I had the right connector as there were about 4 in with each wiper anyway - maybe I got a new set rather than one someone else had opened!

They work fine and the spoiler helps a lot - why do they only have 1 spoiler though? Never could work that out!!

Fitted the 21/21S Bosch wipers on the weekend - I had no need to modify them either. I also can't understand why you only get the spoiler on one?

That'll be so the driver's side wiper stays stuck to the screen at speed. No reason why you shouldn't put one on the passenger side too I suppose.

I put spoilered blades on both sides, the difference over the original blades is night and day, 20 odd quid well spent.
