All this talk of new stuff recently made my wallet twitch. Decided to go for the 7D & grip to add to the 40D/350D bounce

Come on batteries, charge dammit sleep

Any tips on shooting video would be highly appreciated smile

Neil.

Cracking bit of kit, I love mine. My 40`s been moved to 2nd body duties.

It took me a little while to get it set up to how I like. Sooooo many options!

Not read the manual yet, but whacked it on manual, with the 70-200 f2.8 IS on, and did a little video test, I think I'm in love hehe

Looking forward to videoing some beasties with the mp-e!

7 should be ace for your macro. High pixel density and the macro sampling rate tweak.

Video , as you've done, use manual, forget autofocus.

Lighting is the issue with macro Rob, this is going to be even more expensive!

Glad my wife doesn't read pistonheads hehe
