Yeah anywhere between 1/60 and about 1/200

Cheers. Another one then as I strive to get somewhere near the quality of your pics ! Do you shoot in RAW and what kind of post processing do you do ?

Yeah have started shooting RAW, I tned to up the temp a little, put blacks between 5 and 10 and maybe up the exposure a little and depending on the light I have to recover some details. Varys image to image though

It's been aaaages since I went to an airshow. Wondering if I can wait till September for Leuchars or splash out on RIAT ...

slight thread hijack - can anyone recommend any airshows this year? only just found out t the weekend, that my other half is potty about planes.

- great photos on this thread - i probably wont even attempt any shots when we go to an airshow, it'd all end up a blurry mess

Biggin Hill is this weekend and is pretty good. Duxford's Flying Legends is usually excellent, and the big one, RIAT at Fairford is next month.

Old Warden, up in Bedfordshire, is a nice intimate one, but is generally props only, rather than jets (I say "generally" as they have had a Sabre there in the past).
