Oil pressure warning light

Apologies for the dumb question but are the oil pressure and charge lights supposed to work on the s?

I assume so but mine never have I just check the guages. Anyway I will check bulbs but not sure how to get to them any hints appreciated.

On the S2 oil pressure warning light and fuel level warning light not connected but charging light should work

I'm not sure about other S's but my S3C had a quirk (which is apparently normal for them) that the charge light only went out after the engine had been revved to about 2k after which it stayed out. There is no oil pressure light though presumably because the gauge is there to tell you what's going on - you could fit one but you'd need to put a T piece or similar on the block to take the current sender unit and also a pressure switch then wire the latter in to a dash light somewhere.

This is the correct and normal behavoir for the charging setup on the S1-4
