Old PC games LAN fodder

A few geeky friends of mine are planning an old-school LAN party with laptops in a couple of weeks. We want to play some good old games (dotcom) into the wee hours like we did when we were younger. We won't have the hardware to handle anything released in the past 3 years, but we want to play old games anyway, so that's a moot point. What should we play?

The list so far is:

Codename: Eagle (precursor to the Battlefield series and amazing over a 4 player LAN)
Age of Empires 2
Total Annihilation
Outlaws (the Lucasarts wild west thing)
Jedi Knight
Hidden and Dangerous 2 (for pratting about in the cars on the French village map)
IL2, naturally.

We'll have a few more suggestions – but what are your classic LAN staples?

ps. I want to play Delta Force 2 again for its sneaky long grass shenanigans, but I fear it demands an IPX connection, which doesn't seem to exist in Windows 7 Unless anyone knows otherwise?

Ohhhh. You wanna hear something funny? I only discovered that last month. I always spent ages finding my kit after I died, which was sometimes a right PITA when you're doing Baal runs on nightmare and not powerful enough.
