14th March, 2.00pm until 4.30 ish Expecting the Typhon to be there.........

TVR club troops are meeting at 'Premier Lodge' (soft drinks only of course!), at the airport at 12:00 and then heading up to Hexham at about 1:30 ish.

Any takers from this forum ??

Well
1) you were too late and everyone had gone home, all the food had been eaten by then etc
2) it's not the being there but the getting there (in a 20 or more TVR convoy from TVRCC newcastle meet) that counts....

The typhon looks pretty , but the price tag was a bit

Had a sit in a couple of Tuscans, now all I need to do is persuade Tony to give me a weekend test drive in one of them

I went there twice once in the morning on the way through to gateshead and on the way home around 3..

The typhoon looked good but the price was just to high for a TVR really. IMHO. but had a sit in the Tamora and the Tuscans that were there. But found the atmosphere a little dry and look he a bit young to drive a TVR get him out we dont want him in here.

I got the impression from the stuck up w*nkers in there that a TVR is a status symbol for me when i go through hell in my late 40's early 50's its the first time i felt like that in a tvr dealership and i wont be going back there again in a hurry. People at MoleValley and TMS are superb i have no complaint for them at all. but HHC had a feeling of you dont belong here pi55 off.

I am looking for a Griff buti wont be buying it from there as i travel to the midlands quite a bit i will go to TMS or HL gorner had a few calls from them with a good friendly response so i wil take my money where its wanted.

Steve

PS the wife wanted me to place a deposit on the Tamora in the back corner C1 TVR Yellowy orange, but i dont want a speed 6 engined car

I've got to be a bit defensive here, I bought my car privately and took her up to HHC to get a warranty and a quick check over. I have the highest regard for everyone there, all my servicing since has been completed there with no problems and found all the staff to be friendly and knowledgable. Maybe with it being a busy day you didn't get the more "one to one service" you would normally get. Hope this clears a few things up. I would definately recommend them!

from what I heard I wouldn't. I "know" how they test the cars and the attitudes of the main man there. Albeit from a mechanic who got severly jacked off and annoyed at the place...

I'd be happy to give them the benefit of the doubt on most things for that very reason, but when he used to tell me about the way the boss' would test the customer's car (before he got jacked off).

Not sure, I plan to go up in the Marlin in the next few weeks or so and have a nose around and see what they say Might just take some pictures as well
