Anto roll bar bushes...advice SP6 Cerbera

I have been trying to locate an anoying slapping/knocking type sound when go I go over small/large bumps in the road. I have recently replaced suspension with Gaz Gold Pros and fairly sure it's not them. There is nothing obviously moving in the engine bay but I have tightened down the oil tank and oil tank cooler.
I discovered tonight while looking underneath that the front anti-roll bar bushes were split on both sides, I'm a novice with the spanners but I am right in thinking they should be split to allow the ARB to fit into the bush?
Any suggestions as to where I should look for the knocking.

From what they do look like I would replace them. Cheap thing to, about 15 quid both. If the roll bar touches the chassis, then you are supposed to hear a big clonk.

I first thought you got the bigger ones installed, which would explain the gappy look. Bit you seem to have the correct 22mm ones in place.

I'll order some new ones up and get them fitted if nothing else it scores that of the list while trying to locate this knock.
I have a feeling the knocking may be coming from the bonnet as there is a bit of movement where the bonnet attaches to the catches on the left and right hand side, Is your bonnet tight at the windscreen end when you have it closed and in the locked position, I have quiet a bit of movement around the bonnet catches.
