Pootling down the M1 this afternoon at sub-70mph (in lane 1 before you lot start) and was overtaken by a 1985 Fiat 126. As he passed me the driver gave a big grin and thumbs up. I overtook him, slowed down and he did it again, then again. Each time he passed he waved or smiled or both. He was having a whale of a time! So was I, the Fiat was a little cracker (though I'm not so sure about the dark brown paintwork).

The car was either tweaked or being caned but either way kudos to him. Sadly he turned in to the Watford Gap services while behind me and I realised too late to make the slip. Would have loved to stop for a chat. Who says you need a big, flash car to make friends with fellow petrolheads?

Lovely.

A friend had one at uni. Out and about in it, he'd wind down the window and shout at girls: "Big car, small dick!"

No, he pasted me frown

By the way. The idea of this thread was for others to post WCMUT. How is it that EVERY other thread on PH drifts from the OP within three posts but not this one? biggrin

After 4 months of getting every obscure piece of paperwork ever dreamed up relating to our life over the last 10 years my wife and kids have finally, finally, been approved for their Australian Spouse and Dependant visas.... yippee!!
