Shell Gear up for a busy Motorsport year with ten different fuels

Racers or even track day enthusiasts seeking either that little bit extra may be interested to know about Shell Racing Solutions's range of fuels.

Shell Racing Solutions is already offering a range of ten Shell Racing fuels for categories ranging from Historic F1 to GT, karting to motorcycle and turbo engines to diesel. The Shell Helix Racing range of competition lubricants is set to expand shortly with engine lubricants specifically formulated for the unique demands of F3, GT and Rally.

Caroline Missen of Shell Racing Solutions said: "Whether competitors need to find the winning margin by increasing power, cutting losses or increasing durability, Shell Racing Solutions can help. Sometimes it's as simple and as vital as extending engine oil life for endurance or track day use, at other times it's about finding extra power or better snap throttle response ."

In 2003 ADR Motorsport of Chesterfield were appointed as the sole authorised distributors in the UK, with Donegal Oil sole authorised distributors in the Irish market.

The range of Shell Racing fuels, all FIA compliant, comprises:

  • Shell Racing Fuel - GT for GT and formula racing
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Rally 101 for naturally aspirated four-stroke racing engines
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Turbo Rally for increased knock resistance at maximum power
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Diesel 55 - to meet the growing demand for diesel competition fuel
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Kart 2T - maximises power and drivability in high-revving and very hot two-stroke kart engines. High flame speed with excellent knock resistance
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Motorcycle GP 4T - for four-stroke road racing motorcycles such as MotoGP
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Superbike - for on- and off-road racing motorcycles
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Motorcycle GP 2T - for two-stroke road racing motorcycles. Maximum power and excellent throttle response
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Moto Cross 2T - for two-stroke Moto Cross and Enduro bikes
  • Shell Racing Fuel - Historic - suitable for all historic engines including F1 originally designed for high-octane leaded fuel. Its lead replacement technology is second to none and the formulation delivers exceptional protection for valuable engines

Cheating? Hmmmm .... as far as I can see he's done nothing that the likes of Senna and Prost et al have not done as well.

Sour grapes anyone?

He's a success therefore those who have never, and will never achieve anything themselves feel nothing but spite and envy towards him.

Mikey B,

Is the Rally 101 designated as pump fuel as defined by the MSA Blue Book? I run in a classic touring car series and we have to use pump fuel, no additives. I'm assuming the 101 in the name indicates 101 octane?
