Wagon & Horses in Twyford Saturday June 5th
Discussion
Thanks for starting this thread Dave, 'tis much appreciated.
For anyone else who's reading this thread, the band, 'Out Of Order' play most weekends but the reason I'd like a big turn-out tomorrow is to help one of the locals, Helen, to raise more money for Macmillan. Helen will be performing a tri-athlon in August and sponsorship has been slow to say the least.
I'm sure that if you haven't been directly affected by cancer, you know someone who has so please try and come along. If you enjoy the entertainment (but you probably won't
), that's a bonus but if you can spare a couple of quid, it will make a difference.

Pub has a lovely garden, lots of parking but if coming by train, it's one stop (6mins) from Reading and the pub is a 5 min walk from Twyford Station.
Gig starts at 21:00
Hopefully see you all tomorrow.
p.s. If you needed any further incentive, Helen has agreed to wear her skin tight wet-suit on the evening!

Hmm. Two plans, almost certainly mutually exclusive!
At least, for this PHer they are!
I might try and do both, will see how the weather / my drinking goes tomorrow At least, for this PHer they are!

David, I'm sure this is a silly question, but will you be at the pub later, seems rude not too if the weather stays like this

That sir, is eminently possible. However later is a "relative" term, and i'm not sure how long i will be able to hold out

BOO

Ben that would mean driving two nights on the trot. I've spent 2 days with 16 girls under 10 singing and dancing the Wizard of Oz. There is a bottle of wine with my name on it in the fridge for tonight.

Dave, Could probably be there after 7 with room for 3 or 4 well behaved passengers.
