Have a C16R Orange that fits like a glove and is in great nick apart from tired rear wheel and mechs etc... as I have invested in a new MTB, am thinking about doing a fixie conversion on this to give me something interesting to scoot round the local on etc, with some inch slicks fitted. Anyone any experience of using a disc compatible MTB hub to mount a bolt on sprocket, as this seems the most effective way? Chainline and wheel dish are the obvious issues...

No experience of disc conversions, but http://velosolo.co.uk seem to be the place for the best kit to do it and a pretty extensive FAQ. Great customer service from them and I'd imagine they'd help you with any issues or questions you may have.

Thanks, was actually their site that set me off on the idea... just checked this morning and, unfortunately, the Orange has vertical drop-outs so that may prove an obstacle but looks like there's workarounds smile
