PMing question

Have I been banned from PMing? I know this is to protect people from spammers but all I was doing was trying to contact three PHers who I know have an interest in music to ask them to help me with my website venture.

And if I'm banned from doing that, can I mention my site (which is on my profile) in the music section when its ready to launch?

Don't think you can be banned from emailing/PMing other members- certainly no restrictions on your profile
I would presume you can only email one at a time for spamming reasons (HM may be able to confirm)
Try that - or did you already?

I emailed two people last week which fine and have tried to email one this week with no joy. It says technical fault which is odd as I would have thought if I was banned it would have said so. I wasn't spamming, honest guv!

I wasn't asking anyone to advertise the site, just asking for a little bit of advice. Also its not designed as a commercial site, its just a bit of fun really. The people I was asking advice from were all people I'd had good converstaions on the music forum so they sort of knew me.

Anyway, once again sorry if I broke any rules but its all sorted now.
