May photo competition winners
Discussion
After much deliberation this lunchtime and lots of going back over the pics this months winners are as follows. In third place is TheBoyFold with a cracking shot of boxing action. Loved the look on the ref's face.
In second place is this cracking shot from Yelllabelly of the Lincoln Cycle race. I don't normally go for shots that have been played with but thought the treatment for this on worked very well indeed. The comittment of the riders is there for all to see and the composition just right.
And finally our winner this month is....... Jon with this great shot of moto X riders. I liked this shot immediately, the way the riders are showing total commitment, the mud flying into the air and the expectant crowd in the distance. It sort of defines the subject of 'Sport' for me.
I would also like to commend Lois for a great shot of the runners, Mini1275 for a pic after my own heart at the Revival, Civicman for another runner, Dogsey and the glider and Curtisl for another great MX photo. All were deserving contenders, great job everybody. Lastly to Yellabelly's thought about pic size I couldn't open the bigger pics as my pop up blocker stopped them so all were judged on the size displayed. Funnily enough bigger doesn't always mean better. As for me I am now back in the game and ready for this month. Over to you Jon.

Whoops looks like either I got a digit wrong or the photo has been deleted. Please check out the competition to see his pic. Another quick thought and that is I have judged the comp as I see fit. As everybody is different you may not agree with my choices but hope you will congratulate the winners anyway. Mark
Oooohhh thank you
Here's the picture for any one who missed it:

I thought curtisl's motocross picture was much stronger, but thank you for liking mine racing green.
I guess I better come up with something good this month.
