Have it on the PC, it's ok, nothing to get to excited about, although i like throwing knives....
I would have a guess that it will e better on the xbox.
Hardly! A console really does not favour precision targetting at all!!!!!!!!! Especially the kind in this game.I would have a guess that it will e better on the xbox.
I've only played a bit, but I love it. Always enjoyed the sniper parts of other FPS games the most, so this game is perfect since that's all you do! So far at least.

I've had a quick play this evening but it's so hot again this evening I will have a proper go tomorrow morning when it's cooler.
Overall, looks nice, plays nice, all too easy to be caught out and seen and for those moments when all hell breaks lose you have to run and get out because a sniper rifle or the pistol is not the tool for a skirmish.
One thing I don't like is the cut scene handling (again, it seems with all games these days) You might be keeping low, lying down creeping up to your way point to assassinate the Gereral but as soon as you get there the cut scene takes over (PC controls you) and it stands you up, hardly stealthy. <--- Edit, although you don't get seen (so far) it is just a little annoying.
Bullet cam is good (had a few perfect head shot including on on the run) and you can use it to view the area around your target getting shot for others. But turn it off.

I ordered this whilst drunkenly browsing Play.com on Friday and it arrived today.
Well, I've never played a "straight to DVD" game before. You know those action films you see in Blockbuster, starring actors you've never heard of, with a title or plot slightly similar to a decent, famous film? And you think "This might be alright." And you know how they almost always turn out to be crap?
I was a big fan of the Ghost Recon games, so when I saw this, I assumed it was a re-visit to the franchise. It's not. Ignore the misleading "Ghost Warrior" subtitle - this has nothing whatsoever to do with Ghost Recon.
The graphics are second rate. I noticed a lot of what I believe are called "pop ups" (where stuff in the background just suddenly appears) and a lot of bits that seemed simply unfinished (rocks floating in mid-air, anyone?) It's also quite difficult to pick out detail.
The music doesn't appear to be in any way synched to what's going on; it gets all dramatic, then stops - even though the drama is still going on.
Controls are a little random and unpredictable and it's easy to get your man stuck behind a tree or a low wall.
The slo-mo "Head-shot Cam" is a nice touch. At first - It gets a bit samey after a while.
It's easy enough to know when you're walking into trouble, because a big red "You're about to get shot at" bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Thing is, when you do get a contact, the little map in the top left corner is next to useless - you're better off working out where you're being shot at from by, well, working out where you're being shot at from. Ignore the map, look for the muzzle flashes.
Overall, gameplay is noticeably clunky, with lots of annoying pauses.
So, all in all, not the best game ever.

There is, however, a new Ghost recon coming out this year I believe.Well, I've never played a "straight to DVD" game before.
