Does anyone here have the following wardrobe from Laura Ashley (provencale range)
http://mto.lauraashley.com/upholstery-and-furnitur...
The missus has been bugging me to get it, but I have a feeling it may be too big to get round a staircase corner. I was hoping that if it was too big I could dismantle the thing and re-asssemble it myself.
If you have one, could you see how the thing is put together. Screws, nails or gule? I will draw the line at glued because im not going to knock ten bells of s
t out of it just to take it apart, I dont want to damage it.
BTW, they only supply it fully built!

You can do a damn sight better for less money
Can't say it's perfect for your needs or comment on the company but for example:

Please dont do it!!
Its not me, its the missus! Im happy living out of cardboard boxes, but they dont seem to have that same 'frenchie style' that she likes. Help! What a lurvley piece of over priced, over designed MDF.

Just make sure you introduce some manly Karma into the proceedings. When you've installed the wardrobe take a moment - smoke a tab, look at some tits and strip down a carb on the kitchen table.
Works for me!

I mean, whats wrong with this? Is functional, recyclable, can be painted any colour and good value. Plus it fits up the frikkin stairs!

I have this exact wardrobe. No it does not come apart at all, solidly glued together, you can't take the doors off because they are riveted on. There is basically no chance you will ever get this upstairs. A much better idea is http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/9012176... you will definitely get this upstairs.
This is the answer you want. Now you can spend the £1178.50 you've saved on this http://pistonheads.com/sales/1600010.htm

- I haven't really got this wardrobe, just don't let your Mrs scroll down this far.
