V6 engine code

Where would I find the engine code for a 1989 S2 2.9
Looked at buying crank seals for a 2.9 scorpio of that year and the engine codes should be something like BRG.
I have found my engine no. which is CVG 629 DO77*-***
Any advice?

ETA: Can't see that the crankshaft oil seals will be different regardless of this code but will be interested if they are as I really should look at my oil leak sometime soon. Would you keep us posted on what you find please? Thanks, Carl.

Thanks Norman's photo clearly shows the BR I will have another look tomorrow maybe similarly the engine no. is stamped over the code. I'm sure the seals are the same but I have noted the question on engine code several times and while the engine is out thought I could find it. I have ordered 2 seals front and rear (£10) for a scorpio 12V 2.9 1989. Will post to confirm once they are in.
