The weekend got me thinking, does such a car exist?

I need 3 rear seats for the children and 2 up front...er...obviously.

Mercedes, Volvo, BMW, Audi....anyone?

5 door Jeep Wrangler.

That appears to be the only choice.

Or, go back to an era where there was a centre lapbelt, escort / astra soft top? Or squeeze a multimac into a 4seater?

It does appear to be a limited market.

I'd love a Convertible 6 series, Mercedes, Audi but if I can't carry the children it's a non-starter.

Jeep Wrangler isn't quite the same. I wonder why nobody has done this, just a lap belt in the middle even

Because most people prioritise their kid's safety over posing?

Just a thought.

But why would they do such a thing? I'd much rather my kids fly out of a good looking car then something embarrassing.

Cheers for your input though.

Aye, the accident rates for child deaths in convertibles are horrendous.

Won't someone think of the kittens etc...

True, space for the pets would be a bonus. Good thinking.

Go for something American and classic - probably have room for 4 adults across the back of some of them and 3 across the front wink

Goldfish swim about nicely in cup holders too. Unless you have those wky, fold-out CD-drawer type ones; in which case they don't smile
